Born at the end of the sixties, always updated, always abreast of times:
1969 : it was born as a version driven by a lever mechanism
1970 : it was one of the first versions with semi-automatic control (timer)
1980 : the model has two versions: manual and electronic control
1990 : time is ripe for an aesthetical development oriented to reliability and functionality; the natural beauty of present model was born from here; chrome finishes were introduced and the different functions emphasized and harmonized with great attention to detail ; useless features were removed so that coffe and its creator become the only players.
Recent history witnesses Replica main evolutions, going from the traditional technology to the double boiler technology, temperatures electronic control, pursuit of thermic stability and so on…
Replica can be considered as the typical example of functional design: aesthetical study is constantly facing technical evolution, the aesthetic taste of the moment and the more and more professional approach to the product.
